Recovery
A club website restored from internet archives
The previous host lost the website and the recoverable data that should have come with it. The club still needed a public home for training, championships and new members.
The situation
There was no clean handover and no complete original files. Restarting from a blank page would have thrown away years of public club information.
We researched historical internet archives, recovered what could reasonably be found, and reconstructed a WordPress website on a free theme with monthly hosting. Not every original page or file came back. What we could restore, we restored, then rebuilt the site so the club could use it again.
